Anthony DiGenova

Anthony J. DiGenova, 80, of New Philadelphia, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2014, at Schoenbrunn Health Care.

Born September 13, 1933 in Dover, Anthony was the son of the late Anthony & Lydia (Gladstone) DiGenova.

A 1957 graduate of Midvale High School, he served in the United States Army and was a longtime member of the New Philadelphia VFW. He was also a member of Sacred Heart Church in New Philadelphia.

He is survived by his six children, Laurie, Felicia, Lance, Linn, Lon, and Leigh Anne; brothers, John Colombo, Jr. and Webb DiGenova; and numerous grand and great-grand kids.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father John Colombo, Sr.; brother, Tom Colombo; and sister, Mary Colombo.

In accordance with Anthony’s wishes, cremation has been cared for through the Tuscarawas Valley Crematory. A public graveside service will be held TODAY, September 11, 2014, at 9:30AM in New Philadelphia Calvary Cemetery.
