Anna L. Greenwood

Anna L. Greenwood, 71, of Uhrichsville, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2005 in Twin City Hospital at Dennison.Born September 22, 1934 in Dennison, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth E. and Lillian C. (Haugh) Kinsey, Sr.After Anna completed her formal education at Dennison High School, she began her professional career as a Nurse’s Aide.As matriarch of the family she always encouraged and supported each member to achieve their greatest potential. Her grandchildren will long remember their grandmother as educating them via “Order of the Wooden Spoon”. Anna was an avid NASCAR and Cleveland Indians fan and loved adorning her home with pictures of her family.Anna will be sadly missed by her family which includes two daughters, Patricia Carr of Uhrichsville, Brenda Greenwood of Bryan, Oh; sons, Kevin (Robyn) Greenwood of Dover, Ed (Helen) Greenwood of Uhrichsville; grandchildren, Michelle (Jamie) Rutter of Lebanon, Pa, Wendy (fiancé, Todd Rennicker) Carr of Uhrichsville, Todd (Heather) Carr of New Philadelphia, Kenneth (fiancé, Jaimie Lynch) Greenwood of Pittsburgh, Pa, Chad Swinderman of Dennison, Shawnsee (James) Armstrong of Gnadenhutten, Kimberly (fiance, Tommy Murphy, Jr.) Greenwood of Tippecanoe, Shane Greenwood of Uhrichsville, Tyler and Tanner Greenwood, both of Dover; 17 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Robert Kinsey of Arizona.In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her son, Jack Greenwood, her grandson, Joshua Greenwood, and two siblings, Kenneth Kinsey, Jr. and Martha Schlabaugh.In keeping with Anna’s wishes, there will be no public visitation. Those wishing to celebrate Anna’s life are invited to a gathering of family and friends, Friday November 11, 2005 at 2 p.m. at 106 Jay Street, Uhrichsville, OH The family requests memorial contributions in Anna’s memory be made to the American Cancer Society 201 A West Ohio Ave., Dover, OH 44622
