Anna F. Comanita Haugh

Anna F. Comanita Haugh, 90, of Canton, Ohio passed away Thursday August 11th, at McKinley Health Care Center in Canton after a lengthy illness. The family would like to thank all the McKinley Health Care and Aultman Hospice associates for the loving care they provided to Anna.Born August 1, 1915 in New Philadelphia, Anna was the daughter of the late John B. and Marie Gripu Comanita. She was a1933 graduate of New Philadelphia High School. On June 9th, 1941 Anna married Frank A. Haugh with whom she would spend the next 42 years, until his death on April 20th, 1984. Anna was also a life long member of St Mary’s Catholic Church in Canton, O.In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen and Victoria Comanita and three brothers, John, Nick, and George Comanita.Anna is survived by two sons, Frank (Monnie) Haugh of Dawson Texas and John Haugh of Canton; a daughter Mary Ann Hoover of North Canton; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and one sister Mary Wright of New PhiladelphiaPrivate services will be held Monday August 15th with Msgr. George Schlegel officiating at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral home & Crematory in New Philadelphia.
