Ann Lynnette "Lynn" Eberle

Ann Lynnette (Lynn) Edwards Eberle (77) of Dover passed away after a long battle with MS on Wednesday afternoon, March 15, 2023. Lynn was a very strong person, and due to her attitude, lived a joyful life despite her illness. Lynn had an infectious laugh, a quick wit, and was always willing to help others. 

Lynn was a staunch advocate for justice and women’s rights; she was a past president for the local chapter of Women Against Rape and served in various other community service roles. 

She had a strong work ethic, having been raised on a dairy farm in Rush Township. She worked for several years as a realtor and office manager for Eberle Real Estate alongside Dave, her husband of nearly 57 years. While working and raising her children, she earned an Associate degree in computer programming from Kent State Tuscarawas campus.

Lynn loved beauty! She was an avid gardener, enjoying sitting in her garden or among the many plants in her home. She saw beauty even in weeds! She loved capturing the beauty of nature in her paintings, weavings, and pottery. Her artistic talent extended to the kitchen! She was an amazing cook!

She loved the Ohio State Buckeyes, cheering on Cleveland sports teams, music, travel, and the beach. She especially loved sitting by a fire surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Her grandchildren also loved her tea parties. She was well loved by many, as she made each person she met feel special.

Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Daniel Edwards and Elizabeth Grace Wakeham Edwards, and her brother Kenneth Wayne Edwards. She is survived by her beloved husband, David William Eberle, her children, David Daniel (Sandi) Eberle and Laura Beth (Daniel) Evers, her sisters Dianne (Craig) Porter and Ellen Lawless, and her dear grandchildren Joseph Eberle, Kathryn Evers, Kenneth Evers, and Anjali Evers, as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 19, 2023 from 3-6pm at Geib Funeral Center, 5600 N Wooster Avenue, Dover. A Memorial service will be held April 8, 2023, with a reception at 4pm, followed by the service at 5pm, also at Geib Funeral Center.
