Angela Kelly

Angela Michelle Kelly, age 49, of New Philadelphia, died Saturday, January 16, 2016 in her residence.

She was born at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on July 17, 1966. For 20 years she was employed as a collections officer for Fidelity National Collections.

Having experienced many of her own life challenges, Angela made it her mission to better the lives of others and became passionate about helping those who struggle with addiction. She was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous and a volunteer with Drug Core; often dropping whatever she was doing to come to the aid of anyone who needed help. She was an artistic individual who enjoyed craftwork and home improvements.

Angela is survived by her companion, Alonzo Cody of New Philadelphia; two daughters, Savanna (Darius Thomas) Kelly of New Philadelphia, and Sophie (Ivan Marshall) Kelly of Alliance; five grandchildren, Acacia, Jasmin, Samiyah, Alijah, and Aleecia, and a step-daughter, Alicia Cody of Cleveland.

In keeping with Angela’s wishes there will be no public visitation or services. Cremation care will be conducted through Geib’s Tuscaraws Valley Crematory.
