Angela Casey

Angela Casey, age 91, of New Philadelphia died Sunday, July 11, 2004 at Union Hospital.Born June 4, 1913 in New Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late John D. and Eleanor (Koby) Casey.She was a 1931 graduate of Saint Joseph High School in Dover.Angela was employed as a Senior Accounting Clerk with the Ohio Power Company for 46 years, retiring in 1978. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, as well as the Altar Society and the Senior Citizen Organization of the church. She was also a member of A.A.R.P. of Tuscarawas County.Survivors include several cousins. In addition to her parents, Angela was preceded in death by two sisters, Jeanette Casey and Rita Casey Cressio.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, July 17, 2004 at 10:30AM in Sacred Heart Church with Msgr. George J. Schlegel Officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. A luncheon will be held at St. Ambrose Hall immediately following the burial.
