Andrea “Kay” (Yoss) Applegarth, 69, of New Philadelphia, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, November 17th, 2015 after a courageous two year battle with lymphoma.

She especially loved spending time with her great-grandchildren.
On August 15, 1964, Kay married her high school sweetheart, Clarence “Pete” Applegarth, who survives and with whom she celebrated 51 years of marriage with this past August. Together, they have two daughters, Kathy and son-in-law Jeff Brindley of Dennison, Kim and son-in-law Gabe Fincher of New Philadelphia; three grandsons, Jerrin, Kraig and Josh Brindley; granddaughter, Alix Stein; and three great-grandsons Triton and Trax Brindley and Carter Brindley. She is also survived by a brother, James Yoss Jr. of Scio.
In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death by her siblings, Charles “Edward” Yoss and Thelma Bolitho, both of Scio.
