Amanda Milburn

Amanda L. (McCulloch) Milburn, 38, of Gnadenhutten, passed away January 20, 2017.

A daughter of Deborah (Joseph J.) Cheslock and William (Jennie) McCulloch, Amanda was born November 24, 1978 in Union Hospital at Dover, Ohio.

Amanda graduated from New Philadelphia High School in 1996 and went on to work in the office of Twin City Chiropractic. She loved her job as well as her co-workers and clients.

Amanda was a Harley girl at heart and loved going for rides. She was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and enjoyed volunteering at her daughter’s school, St. Mary’s Elementary. Her biggest joy in life was her family.  She was a very loving and caring mother and wife, devoted to her family above all else.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband, Jason Milburn, whom she married June 11, 2011; three children, Tyler R Marshall(fiancée, Brennae Porter) McCulloch, Wessly C. Steed, and Isabella L. Milburn; grandparents, Martha Sherer-Ott and Dennis Ott; two sisters, Tracie A (Russell) Angel and Billie Jo (Ron) Gordon; two step sisters, Sharon Sefert and Jackie (Brian) Loibl; mother-in-law, Pam Plotts; brother-in-law, Jerrod (Ashlee) Plotts; sister-in-law Steph Plotts; her best friend, Leah Dunne and family as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and one great-nephew and her dog, Michelangelo.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Floyd Sherer, Thomas (Mary) McCulloch, Lucy Cramlet, and Joseph (Ruth) Cheslock as well as her father-in-law, Mike Plotts.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 5 to 8 in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory in New Philadelphia, Ohio.  A service celebrating Amanda’s life will be held Friday January 27, 2017 at 10:30 AM in Jerusalem Church at New Philadelphia with Pastor Tom Hendershot officiating.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.  A meal will follow the committal service in the fellowship hall at Jerusalem Church.

Memorial contributions in Amanda’s memory may be made to the Amanda (McCulloch) Milburn Memorial Fund at the Dover-Phila Credit Union.
