Alice Walker

Alice Louise Walker, 87, of Sherrodsville, died Tuesday, May 22, 2018 in Union Hospital at Dover following a recent illness.

A daughter of the late Albert and Eva (Reed) Walker, Alice was born July 18, 1930 at Strasburg, Ohio.

Alice attended Roxford United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two sisters, Vicki Boltz of Bolivar and Rosalee (Eddie) DeLoach of Georgia; two brothers, Earl (Mary) Walker of Sherrodsville and Gene Walker of Dover; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Lucy DeLoach; and two brothers, Harry Walker and Albert Walker Jr.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A funeral service celebrating Alice’s life will follow on Saturday at 2:30 PM in the funeral home with Rev. Ron Heasley officiating. Burial will follow in New Cumberland Cemetery.
