Alice M Pisony

Alice M Pisony, 82, of Dover, formerly of New Philadelphia, died Saturday morning at New Dawn Health Care Center in Dover, O.Born August 4, 1923 in New Salisbury, O.., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Stephanie Reel Grafton.Alice married her late husband John Pisony November 10, 1956.An employee of Alsco Anaconda in Sugarcreek for 16 years, she was employed in the shipping department.Alice was a great mother and has left her family with many fond memories, but she will be especially missed for her talents in the kitchen, as she was a great cook.Alice is survived by two sons; James (Linda) Sowers of Mineral City and George (Kay) Sowers of Zoarville, O.; one brother, James (Connie) Novosel of Louisville, O, : and two sisters, Josephine (David) Hartman, of Lima, O., Mildred Leatherberry, of East Canton; one grandson, Tim (Tonia) Sowers of Zoarville; and four great grandchildren, Michaela, Mackenzie, Whitney, and Quentin Sowers of Zoarville.In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her step father Mathew Novosel; one brother George Reel; a sister, Barbara Russell; and one daughter Sandra K. Sowers.Visitation will be Tuesday, October 18, 2005, from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Kelly Brown Officiating.
